What's New for 2019

The S4 comes in three sporty trims: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

The Premium sedan has a starting price of about $50,500. Key features include LED headlights, leather/Alcantara upholstery, 12-way power front seats with heat and massage, three-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay, and a power moonroof. Driver safety features include low-speed automatic emergency braking and rain-sensing wipers.

The Premium Plus trim comes in at about $53,000 and includes a digital gauge cluster, proximity keyless entry, remote start, wireless phone charging, and navigation. Rear and side collision warning systems are standard, as well.

The top-of-the-line Prestige model starts around $56,500. A head-up display, surround-view camera, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system come standard, as do safety aids like adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.

Like all Audi models, the inside of the S4 feels substantial, with a restrained design and excellent attention to detail. The infotainment screen "floats" on top of a center stack that is made up of physical HVAC buttons and vehicle settings. As it is one of the sportiest models Audi offers, the S4 has aluminum inlays (carbon is available), leather/Alcantara upholstery, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The rear seating is spacious and nicely equipped, with automatic climate control and one-touch power windows with pinch protection.
