The BMW X3 M comes in two distinctive trims: the X3 M and the X3 M Competition.

The X3 M features a nearly 500 horsepower M TwinPower inline 6-cylinder engine, intelligent all-wheel-drive, and a true BMW M level of performance. For this impressive performance, the X3 M starts around $70,000.

The X3 M Competition takes things to the next level adding more power, bringing the total power output up over 500 horsepower, and adds additional tweaks to make it even more of a luxury performance vehicle. The X3 M Competition starts around $77,000.

The X3 M features an inline 6-cylinder M TwinPower engine producing 473 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain is mated to an M specific 8-speed gearbox, an active M Sport differential, and intelligent all-wheel-drive.

The X3 M Competition adds even more power wringing the total up to 503 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.
